Information for speakers
Thanks for all the proposed sessions
Throughout our call for sessions, we were looking for great content for our 10 industry verticals.
We wanted a selection of submissions for sessions, panels, and workshops. To do this, Speakers first created a website account to submit a session before publishing their proposed sessions to our website.
Submissions have now closed and we want to thank everyone for their proposed sessions. Our program team published the selected sessions. Read more about the session selection process. To ensure high quality sessions at Drupal Europe, all selected speakers are required to sign our speaker agreement.
Speaker diversity
Drupal Europe wants to increase speaker diversity. There was a field to indicate the group in the session submission. This information is, of course, kept strictly confidential between you and the organisers.
Types of sessions
- Talk: you hold a lecture for the audience, usually showing a presentation slide deck or live-demonstration (or a mix of both). Talks can be supported by a second speaker. We are looking for talks of 20 minutes and talks of 45 minutes.
- Panel: moderated discussion of 3 or more panelists on stage. All panels are 45 minutes long.
- Workshop: any group activity: You invite your audience to join a hands-on training or an open discussion. Workshops are 2-3 hour long.
Birds of a Feather (BoF)
Birds of a feather gather as an informal discussion group for topics like organising DrupalCamps, following up on sessions like media management in core to do planning all the way to chocolate sharing and knitting. Find like-minded attendees in the widest topics! These are not presentations and therefore no equipment is provided to do presentations in BoFs.
BoF proposals can be submitted separately based on BoF space availability and are not subject to centralised session selection.
